Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of its client, a dynamic accounting and consulting firm, is seeking to recruit a high-caliber Audit Senior/Audit Supervisor to join its professional team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Audit and will play a key role in planning, managing, and delivering audit engagements for a portfolio of local and international clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients, planning and executing statutory audit engagements
  • Performing audit testing, analytical reviews, and risk assessments, as well as reviewing trial balances, ledgers and financial statements
  • Preparing audit files and working papers in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)
  • Identifying audit, accounting and internal control issues and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Supervising and guiding junior team members
  • Liaising with clients and coordinating with accounting and reporting teams to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Ensuring engagements are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Undertaking ad-hoc tasks as required


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • ACCA, ACA or CPA qualified, or actively pursuing a professional qualification
  • A minimum of three years of relevant audit experience or 1 year relevant audit experience after qualification
  • Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), IFRSs, and Cyprus statutory audit requirements
  • Ability to prepare and complete audit files with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work
  • Positive, proactive, and results-driven attitude
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with any audit/accounting program will be considered an advantage 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek languages
