Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd, on behalf of its client, a leading premium beverages importer and distributor in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit a motivated, organised, and detail-oriented Accountant to join its dynamic team in Larnaca.
The successful candidate will support the company’s financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations and will report directly to the Chief Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing various weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of annual and quarterly financial statement audits, while working closely with external auditors
- Supporting day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and processing import purchasing invoices
- Performing reconciliations of key supplier and vendor accounts
- Assisting in the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of weekly cash flow forecasts
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an advantage
- Partly qualified or currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification will be considered an advantage
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in an accounting role
- Well-organised, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; familiarity with SAP will be considered an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek languages
